That said, we saw members of the Army, Gendarmerie, local police, CAM SAR, RRC.711, and NCDM - all hard at work delivering supplies, recovering stranded citizens, repairing dikes, and giving medical care to those in need. Rescue workers were tired from the long hours and often difficult working environment, but they remained smiling and attentive. This positive attitude was shared by most of the people being helped, who were also cheerful under bad circumstances. Another example of the resilience of the Cambodian people.
